Strings & Pimm’s

A midsummer concert was given on the 20th June by Icon Strings, one of London's leading crossover string quartets and made up of top prize-winning chamber musicians and concert artists. It has performed at some of the most prestigious venues in the world, from London to Beijing, and offers programmes aimed at appealing to a wide audience. Pimm’s and other drinks will be available.

The first half featured Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and was followed in the second half by arrangements of many show tunes and popular songs including: Music of The Night – Phantom of the Opera; One Day More – Les Misérables; Tonight (or Maria) – West Side Story; Everything’s Comin’ Up Roses – Gypsy; Send in The Clowns – A Little Night Music and finished with Mama Mia - Abba.
